Mara and John’s SUPER Wedding
When Central Illinois (now) Groom-to-Be, John Frerich entered the Hustedt Jewelers Super Proposal Contest he was hoping to win the opportunity to propose to his future Bride, Mara Hampton, on TV during a 15 second Super Bowl commercial. And that’s exactly what happened.
After his submission won the contest John prepared for Super Bowl Sunday! John sat down with Heather Roberts from CI Living for a quick interview prior to popping the question.

Surrounded by friends, family and slightly hidden television cameras, Mara and John watched the Super Bowl at the local BW3’s. At just the right moment John was able to direct Mara’s attention to his SUPER proposal. An excited Mara quickly said “YES”!

Mara Hampton John Frerich are now planning a SUPER wedding with the help of some of Central Illinois’ best vendors. Michelle’s Bridal & Tuxedo in Urbana, IL is happy to be assisting this couple with all of their wedding attire.
Michelle’s provided the couple with a complimentary Champagne Appointment so that Mara and her friends and family could enjoy a private shopping experience.
When following up with Mara after her dress shopping she said “Heather Roberts from CI Living was also at the champagne appointment, which just made it even more fun and exciting. I was spinning around in dresses for the camera, which I think just added to the excitement of the moment. The champagne appointment was so fun and something I think all brides should do! It makes the already special moment of choosing a dress even more special!”
